| Biography of Pat Brannon |

![]() Award-winning Christian poet, children’s author, professional songwriter, and best-selling author in the Authors to Believe In Book Club, Pat Brannon is a lady you want to meet, even though you may not know it yet. Actually, Pat is the next person you want to invite to your school or special event. She does a highly visual, attention-getting character education presentation on the evils of bullying for all ages. Bullying is a universal problem. It knows no culture, skin color, age and etc. It is NOT limited to children at schools. Bullies are found everywhere, including the workplace. While Pat is talking to the children and adults at your school or church, and while she is singing and dancing and doing some wonderfully strange things that keeps everybody’s attention, she is teaching them some very important, sometimes life-changing, lessons. You see, Pat educates everyone while she entertains them. Everybody that hears Pat’s message walks away a different and informed person after they’ve seen and heard Pat in action. To really appreciate Pat and her message on bullying, you MUST experience her in person.
When it comes to writing, singing and performing in public, Pat is a natural. At the age of nine she joined her first band as a vocalist and musician and began performing in public. Down through the years Pat joined two other bands. She has performed numerous times on radio and television. Pat is the founding member of Lifeline, a Southern Gospel quartet at Meadowood Baptist Church in Amory, MS. She is also a featured soloist and active member of the Adult Sanctuary Choir there.
She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the Mississippi Writers Guild. Pat has been married to Howard Brannon for 35 years. They have two sons Jason and Shawn and one precious grandson Elijah. |
