Hello Everybody,
I’m glad you stopped by today. Pull up a chair, grab a glass of tea, and have a look around. Lots of really neat things are happening and I want you to know about them. I also want to tell you some things about me that you probably don’t know.
I’m a combination of city girl/country girl and am proud to be both. I can pick blackberries (thorns and all), muscadines, polk salet, and dig for potatoes. I’ve helped wring chicken’s necks for Sunday dinner, watched hog-killing taking place, and spent many nights in a storm cellar. I’ve always been surrounded by music. I love to sing and write songs and I LOVED playing basketball in my younger days.
I was born in the fairly small town of Morrilton, Arkansas. I attended Northside Elementary School in first (Hello Mrs. Jackson.) & second grades and absolutely loved that school. Then my family built a house and moved to Robertstown, AR, far out into the country (only about a 30 minute drive from town, but it seemed a lot farther) to a life I had never experienced much except the times we visited my grandmother and aunt who already lived there. I was about to enter the third grade.
With a lot of fun times between the 3rd and 12th grades, I graduated from Wonderview High School.
I guess I should stop here. I can’t give away all of my secrets, you know. Hopefully, you’ll be reading about some of my childhood escapades and experiences soon in another one of my books.
So, stay safe and stay tuned to my website. Come back often for a visit and tell your friends and family to check things out too. Things are constantly changing in my world and you don’t want to miss a thing.
Have a gi-normous day and make sure you don’t catch a case of those dreadful effizutties!
Blessings,
Pat
